I'm currently migrating from a Windows to a Linux-based home server - for Windows I used Macrium Reflect to backup the system "as a whole" however that doesn't cover Linux and so I need something else.ĬloneZilla/RescueZilla - I've used these in the past to backup temporary/experimental OS installs and the fact is that whilst it recovers to 'the exact same system' AOK, recovering to a different drive at a later point (when the system may have changed it's configuration) tends to fail and that's just not useful to me.I really can't believe this is happening to me- I have been so careful!
